I had been a nurse for more than half of my life. I could say that I have given everything in me for this profession. After a short marriage that ended up in a divorce, I never bothered going into another serious relationship again. I had boyfriends but it was just that, boyfriends. They must have sensed that I am not into anything serious, or maybe I just haven’t met the right man for me. But at 52, I am not hoping for anything anymore. All I am trying to do now is to do the best I can do for the patients who need me and the care I can give them.
However, not being in the market for marriage doesn’t mean I don’t have to look good too.
